Key Responsibilities & Duties
As the Restaurant Manager, you will be the operational lead, accountable for all aspects of the restaurant's performance. Your day-to-day focus will be on team leadership, financial control, and upholding the highest standards of service.

Operational Leadership & Team Management: Directly manage all front-of-house staff, including supervisors, servers, and hosts. Conduct pre-shift briefings, manage rotas efficiently, and be responsible for recruitment, training, development, and performance management in liaison with senior leadership. Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative team culture.

Financial Performance & Commercial Acumen: Take ownership of the restaurant's P&L. Drive sales through effective upselling, promotional activities, and event management. Control costs meticulously, including labour (scheduling to budget), stock, and wastage. Analyse sales reports, identify trends, and implement strategies to maximise profitability and average spend.

Guest Experience & Standards: Ensure every guest receives outstanding, personalised service. Actively manage the floor during service, resolving any complaints promptly and diplomatically to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business. Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations (including HACCP).

Stock & Supplier Management: Oversee all ordering for front-of-house supplies, including beverages and dry goods. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate costs, and ensure optimal stock levels to meet demand without excessive waste. Conduct regular stock takes and ensure correct storage and rotation procedures are followed.

- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or Deputy Manager in a fast-paced, table-service restaurant.

- In-depth knowledge of health & safety, food hygiene (Level 3 preferred), and licensing laws.
