If an injury occurs while you're working through Temping Agency, you're covered by employer's liability insurance. You'd report the injury immediately to your supervisor, receive appropriate first aid, and complete an accident report. For minor injuries (small cuts, mild strains), you'd typically continue working if comfortable. For significant injuries, you'd receive appropriate medical attention and time off work. You'd be eligible for statutory sick pay if the injury prevents work. The key to staying safe is: follow all safety procedures, wear required protective equipment, report hazards immediately, use proper manual handling techniques, and don't take shortcuts. If a facility doesn't take safety seriously, that's unacceptable—and you'd inform Temping Agency immediately, and we'd intervene. Your safety genuinely matters to us.
